Earlier on the card, Trick Williams defended Sami Zayn in a match for the men’s United States Championship. Williams beat Zayn at WrestleMania 42 to win the title.
In earlier matches, Bron Breakker defeated Seth Rollins, while The Miz and Kit Wilson were no match for Danhausen and his mystery partner, “mini-Hausen.”
Iyo Sky squared off with Asuka and defeated her former faction member.
During the show, retired 17-time WWE champion John Cena announced the John Cena Classic. The new tournament is intended to spotlight the stars of tomorrow, with a new championship added and crowd participation in selecting the eventual champion, whether they win their match or not.
