Buckingham Palace issued a major update on King Charles’ key meeting with West Indies cricket legends, but the royal fans have one major complaint.
A photo has been released showcasing the beaming monarch and Queen Camilla posing with Sir Curtly Ambrose, Sir Richie Richardson, Sir Andy Roberts and Sir Viv Richards at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.
The moment was captured in Antigua following an Independence Day parade at the venue.

The same event was interrupted due to a torrential downpour. The Queen escaped with an umbrella, leaving King Charles behind, soaking.
This moment troubled many netizens, who argued that the Queen could have offered the same umbrella to the monarch.
In the comments section, one social media user said on Instagram, “And Camilla ran away with the umbrella.”
“Can a woman who leaves the king alone in the rain be a queen?” another penned.
Another video was released by Palace, featuring the King, who “opened the ‘One Commonwealth, One Team’ Exhibition Cricket Match Series with the ceremonial coin toss at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua and Barbuda, a fixture the Sustainable Markets Initiative is proud to support.
“It was a moment that captured the spirit of CHOGM 2026: bringing together leaders and young talent through the shared language of sport, on the very ground that carries the name of one of cricket’s greats.”
