Elizabeth Hurley is sharing a rare insight into her blended family with boyfriend Billy Ray Cyrus.
The 61-year-old actress and model recently made an appearance on the latest episode of Off Air with Jane & Fi podcast and talked about her family dynamic with her country singer beau.
”It works very well, I think,” the Gossip Girl actress remarked.
For those unversed, Elizabeth is mom to 24-year-old son Damian, whom she welcomed with her late ex Steve Bing.
On the other hand, Billy Ray has welcomed six kids with his previous partners, including Miley Cyrus, whom he shares with his ex wife Tish Cyrus.
Elizabeth noted that both her and Billy Ray’s kids are now grown ups so it also work out in their favor.
”They were at school. There were still school runs, school holidays. There was an awful lot to juggle. And now, Billy and I are empty nesters,” she explained, adding, “All our children are independent and Damian is the youngest of all of them.”
Reflecting on her dynamic with her previous partner’s kids, Elizabeth shared, “When I dated a previous boyfriend of mine, Shane [Warne] – who sadly, of course, isn’t with us anymore – he had three kids and they were all sort of the same age as Damian and then a few years above, but they were kids.”
She admitted when kids reach adulthood, parenting becomes easier, “It’s very different. It’s more grown up and it’s easier.”
However, Elizabeth confessed that she “sometimes” misses “being a hands-on mummy.”
The mom of one explained, “I don’t miss the school runs. I don’t miss running around the house screaming because I can’t find a tennis racket. I don’t mind missing that.
“But you do sort of miss, I suppose, being so hands-on. It’s an adjustment to have to make.”
It is pertinent to mention that Elizabeth and Billy Ray Cyrus announced their romance on Easter in 2025.
The pair recently sparked engagement rumors after Elizabeth posted a picture of herself with a diamond ring.
