Twilight is ready to take fans back to the early 2000s as the franchise is releasing a new installment, Stephenie Meyer’s MIDNIGHT SUN.
The adaptation will be a two-season animated series and will retell the events of the original Twilight movies from Edward Cullen’s perspective.
The series has officially entered the development phase with Netflix, and fans cannot wait to get another peak into the vampire drama.

Taking to social media, fans reacted to the news, writing, “This about to be the best 2 seasons ever,” while another quipped, “I know Robert Pattinson would rather walk into traffic than reprise this role again.”
A third chimed in, “Are they making it animated so they can all come back and voice their characters oh my god,” and “Twilight in 2026 yes i want it.”
Another cheered, “Omg is this how we get Twilight back onscreen.”
