Live music returns to the Carter Barron Amphitheater this weekend, and some of D.C.’s finest go-go bands are taking the stage at the annual Chuck Brown Day concert at Fort Dupont. Both of those events are being held in national parks — just in time for National Parks Week. Multiple movies are being screened outdoors on the National Mall, too, while other highlights include live music from around the globe at the annual Washington Folk Festival, a night for crafting your own Renn Fest accessories, a talk about Godzilla, a tribute to Amy Winehouse and a family-friendly kite festival.
