Selma Blair reacts to Hayden Panettiere’s untimely death

Selma Blair is mourning the sudden death of actress Hayden Panettiere.

“I love you. Don’t be gone. Don’t be gone . Please. Please,” the 51-year-old actress commented on Hayden’s final Instagram post. 

“I love you whale tail my friend,” Selma added, as per Entertainment Now.

For those unversed, Hayden passed away on Sunday, August 16, at the age of 36. Her death was announced by her father on social media.

“It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden,” Hayden’s father, Skip Panettiere, said in a statement to ABC News.

“She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her — and to the millions who watched her onscreen,” he continued.

He father also asked for privacy “as our family takes time to process this unimaginable loss.”

Hayden’s cause of death has not been disclosed yet. However, an insider spilled to TMZ that the Heroes alum recently “had been complaining about back pain in the past year.”

Hayden began his acting career in 2000 as a child star in the sports drama film Remember the Titans.

However, she rose to fame after starring as cheerleader Claire Bennet in Heroes.
