Downey Jr., who is set to portray Doctor Doom, stepped into the look associated with Pascal’s Reed Richards, aka Mr. Fantastic, while Pascal took on Doom’s intimidating masked appearance.
Sharing a video on his social media, Downey Jr. teased fans with the cheeky caption, “Victor. Richard. Costume swap!”Â
The clip began with Pascal casually pulling back his hoodie before Downey Jr. slowly lowered his hand from his face.
Then came the big reveal: Pascal uncovered his mask while Downey dropped both hands, unveiling the two actors in their swapped superhero outfits.
Pascal’s green MIT hoodie was an especially clever touch, adding another little nod to Tony Stark’s iconic Marvel history.
But apparently, posing in each other’s costumes wasn’t enough mischief for these two.
In another Instagram Stories video, Downey Jr. gave fans a glimpse of their off-camera fun as the pair strolled arm-in-arm down a quiet street at night, holding hands and even breaking into some dancing.
With Avengers: Doomsday scheduled to hit theatres on December 18, fans are already looking forward to seeing these two share the screen.
