Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did not hold back from sharing their true feelings over the ‘private citizen’ debate.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have preferred calling themselves “public figures” after facing a seemingly snub from King Charles in a bold letter, reminding everyone that they are still the non-working members of the royal family.
According to the Daily Mail, Harry and Meghan would prefer “public figures” status as this will “acknowledge that, on a personal level, they remained members of the Royal Family, despite no longer receiving public funding.”
Another bombshell Harry and Meghan made was revealing they were not informed about the Palace’s bombshell statement.
The Sussexes’ spokesperson spoke out, claiming the couple was “a little surprised not to have been told about” the King’s letter in advance.
However, the Palace denied such reports, stating the Sussexes have been informed, but the contents of the letter were not revealed.
