Brandon “Bug” Hall is turning to fans for financial support as he and his wife prepare to welcome their sixth child — months after his arrest.
The former Little Rascals star — who portrayed Alfalfa in the 1994 Steven Spielberg comedy — launched a GoFundMe campaign on Thursday, November 5, admitting that he “really need[ed] some help” after falling behind on household expenses.
Hall, 41, previously revealed to The Daily Mail that he “self-cancelled’ himself from Hollywood, taking a “vow of poverty” and living off-the-grid in rural Arkansas as a “radical Catholic extremist.” In his fundraiser, the former actor revealed he is struggling to cover a few bills.

“It’s now six years since I self-cancelled, and I have avoided doing one of these [fundraisers] in all that time,” he explained. “I always said this was my choice, and so I didn’t want to offload the glorious burden of it unless there was no other choice. Well here we are.”
Hall acknowledged that others are facing financial difficulties too, but appealed to supporters for whatever assistance they could offer.
The campaign has already brought in $10,130, surpassing its original $2,000 goal.
The appeal follows Hall’s April arrest in Ohio over a failure-to-appear charge connected to a 2024 traffic citation. He was also arrested in Texas in 2020.
