Christina Pazsitzky couldn’t control her tears while discussing her impending divorce with Tom Segura.
During the latest episode of her Your Mom’s House podcast, the 50-year-old comedian confessed that the separation was “extremely sad.”
“Sorry, I didn’t want to cry this soon. It is very sad. That being said, we have tried to work it out for several years for the sake of our children and our family, and we gave it all we could, but we just couldn’t work things out,” she said.
“We are no longer a couple,” Christina continued.
The podcaster further said that he and Tom were trying to make their two kids a priority as they navigated the split.
‘Look, we had 20 amazing years together,” Christina said. “That’s a really good run, I think, in a marriage. We had a very successful marriage. We created [YMH Studios], we have comedy careers [and] most importantly created a family.’
“I wanted to address the audience specifically because we’ve been through a lot together — for those of you that have listened to us since the very beginning — we’ve been through Tom and I getting married and living in Silver Lake and being two broke comics,” she continued. “We’ve been through births and deaths, tragic accidents, cancer, COVID, all the things, and I want you to know that I’m still your mom, and I’m still here, and we will survive.”
Christina added that she and Tom have an amicable relationship despite their split, urging fans not to take sides.
“This is not an ugly divorce,” she said. “Like, we’re cool, dude.”
As per the Daily Mail, Christina and Tom parted ways in May after 18 years of marriage.
