Christina Applegate is facing another difficult time as she tries to find out what is causing her health problems.
The actress recently shared that she was wrongly told she had multiple sclerosis, also known as MS, in 2021. Her doctors are now looking into other illnesses that could explain why she has been feeling so unwell.
During the November 3 episode of her podcast, MesSy, Christina spoke about the new tests with her co host Jamie Lynn Sigler and guest Jack Osbourne, who also has MS.
She explained that doctors are now checking for other illnesses that can cause problems like MS. These include rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and Lyme disease.
“We are going into square one, just doing some testing and going one by one of the sister diseases to MS,” she said. Christina added that the tests were being done “slowly but surely”.
Although she has learned that she does not have MS, her health problems have not gone away. She still finds it hard to move around and sometimes needs a wheelchair when visiting medical centres.
Christina also said it was hard to take in the news because she had spent years connecting with other people who were living with MS. She has not shared the results of her latest tests yet.
