King Charles could be looking at his close circle of royal members for some damage control as uncomfortable discussions and interactions are on the horizon, following the return of Prince Harry back to UK.
Princess Anne, famously known for her no-nonsense approach to matters, could be stepping in between her nephews, if need be, for the sake of peace in the royal family.
It has been reported that the Sussexes are moving back to England for an “extensive period” at a private, non-royal residence outside of London. Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are also set to start school in September.
Given that the monarch is eager to have his grandchildren close to him, he is also aware of how much anger Prince William still holds for his estranged brother and haven’t yet forgiven him for Spare and tell-all interviews.
The Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex have not been on good terms with one another for over four years now, and there are still no signs of the brothers reconciling any time soon.
However, the Princess Royal believes that the rift between the brothers have gone on for two long and should now be reined in. According to insiders cited by National Examiner, Anne has warned both of them to cut it out.
“In her view, they all need to be brought into line and told that this nonsense has gone on far too long,” the source said. They noted that Anne considers this immaturity from “two grown men fighting over little things” to be “unacceptable”.
William has received a stern warning from his aunt since Harry has been “a lot more open to fixing things” compared to him.
Even though the Princess Royal is not completely letting Harry off the hook, she is urging them both to “treasure every moment” with their cancer-stricken father.
