For Alia Bhatt, Black Is The New Red As She Drops Pictures In Rahul Mishra Couture On Valentine’s Day
Red might have everlasting rights over Valentine’s Day festivities, but Alia Bhatt stepping out in a gorgeous black velvet gown was certainly not in our bingo cards, but should have been, because she really took no prisoners with this look.
The haute couture look by OG Indian designer Rahul Mishra centres around a striking black velvet gown that is both sleek and sculpted. The strapless silhouette hugs Alia’s body beautifully, while the structured bodice with a scopp neckline features intricate textured detailing that adds depth and a couture feel.
The scoop neckline is embellished with textures of two crows, and the gown is called the Cityscape classic velvet gown. It’s elegant and very date-night ready.
The jewellery brings just the right amount of sparkle. A delicate diamond necklace sits close to her neck, finished with a warm but massive yellow diamond solitaire that instantly draws the eye. Matching diamond studs keep things refined and minimal, letting the statement necklace shine without overwhelming the look. There’s also a bold ring moment, polished and glamorous, perfect for those close-up hand poses.
We love how Alia’s windswept hair always looks effortlessly styled in glossy waves. She keeps her makeup luminous and fresh, flaunting glowing skin, defined eyes, and a soft neutral lip that keeps everything chic rather than overdone.
The pictures were part of her drop that also featured glimpses of bags, a cheese platter, a cap that read ‘Not Today’, and multiple other day out attires, including a picture of her being felicitated at the Little Nest Padel tournament!
On the work front, Alia is currently busy shooting for two movies, YRF’s Alpha, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love And War. The Bhansali film will also feature Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. YRF’s Spy universe film Alpha will also star Sharvari Wagh and Bobby Deol in important roles.
