The stage for the Practical Magic screening got some special stars gracing its stage, and they are none other than Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman.
The duo strode in hand-in-hand for the drop that comes after the 1998 original graced theatres.
The two even addressed the crowd present and made small statements.
Bullock was the first to step up and she said, “[Practical Magic] is [the] perfect movie to show at a cemetery. Thank you for all your support for getting this second film made that’s coming to you very soon.”
For those unversed with the storyline of his sequel, the duo play orphaned sisters Sally and Gillian Owens, who were raised by witch aunts Aunt Jet (Dianne Wiest) and Aunt Franny (Stockard Channing).
This version focuses more on their return to the craft, after avoiding it for most of their life.
Their efforts are tightly focused on helping the women in their family lift a curse that aims to threaten their love life, by killing off any potential love interest.
The timeline of the film itself fast forwards’ 25 years, and Bullock’s character even has two daughters in this installment.
