Who is eligible for NatWest Premier?
To apply for NatWest Premier, customers must be aged 18 or over and be UK residents. They must also meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Have a sole annual income of £100,000 or more paid into a NatWest account
- Have a joint annual income of £120,000 or more paid into a NatWest account
- Hold £100,000 or more in savings or investments with NatWest
- Have a NatWest mortgage of £500,000 or more

Get a £500 welcome bonus when switching
Eligible new or existing customers who don’t hold a NatWest Current Account as of 2nd September 2026 and switch their current account from another bank to either a Premier Select or Premier Reward account could receive a £500 welcome bonus.
To qualify, customers must:
- Use the Current Account Switch Service to complete a full switch of their current account that is not with NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland or Ulster Bank to their new NatWest Current Account. This includes closing your current account held elsewhere.
- Pay in at least £15,000 within 90 days of opening the account. This can be made up of multiple payments, such as salary deposits, provided each payment remains in the account for at least 24 hours.
- Log in to the NatWest mobile app within 90 days.
Once all criteria have been satisfied and verified after 90 days, the £500 welcome bonus will be paid within the following 30 days.
The offer is not available to customers who have previously received a switching incentive from the NatWest Group or who held a NatWest current account on 2 September 2026. Terms and restrictions apply.
NatWest Premier Select Account
The Premier Select account is designed for customers who want straightforward everyday banking combined with the benefits of Premier membership.
Key features include:
- No monthly account fee
- No foreign transaction fees on debit card outside the UK or when buying in a foreign currency. ATM withdrawal and local fees may apply.
- Interest-free arranged overdraft up to £500
- Exclusive 24/7 support and access to financial expertise
Customers can also qualify for the £500 switching bonus when opening a Premier Select account and meeting the applicable offer criteria.

NatWest Premier Reward account
Customers looking to earn ongoing benefits may prefer the Premier Reward account, which costs £2 per month.
Alongside access to all Premier services and support, customers can earn rewards through everyday banking activity.
Benefits include:
- £9 back in Rewards monthly, for at least two Direct Debits set up with a value of £4.50 each
- Get even more Rewards when spending with our partner retailers. Offers change every two weeks
- Once Rewards reach £5, these can be converted for money, exchanged for e-gift cards or points with our partners, or donated to charity
- Access to investment advisers and dedicated Premier support
Customers must pay at least £1,250 each month into any NatWest current account and meet Premier eligibility requirements.
Customers can also qualify for the £500 switching bonus when opening a Premier Reward account and meeting the applicable offer criteria.
NatWest Premier Reward Black account
Customers looking for a premium banking experience with added travel, health, protection and lifestyle benefits may prefer the Premier Reward Black account, which costs £39 per month.
