Tom Cruise, Missions Impossible star and father has just come face to face with something that Brad Pitt has been facing with each and every one of his children.
For those unversed, its related to his daughter Suri’s decision to drop ‘Cruise’ from her name and go by ‘Noelle’ which is her mom Katie Holmes’ middle name.
To make matters worse she’s also chosen to enter into the world of acting, the same way as her father but due to the current state of their relationship, it does not seem many father-daughter bonding opportunities are being carved out.
A well placed source explained his heartbreak in a candid chat, and during this conversation they said, “the fact that she’s pursuing a career in his industry and he’s not able to help guide her is incredibly painful, of course it is.”
After all Tom has served as mentor to many a young people in this business already and to know his daughter will not be on the receiving end has “got to make him feel pretty guilty,” they even said.
Another thing the insider spoke of his the actual dynamic the pair have and admits, “Tom doesn’t talk openly about Suri, it’s too painful, but it’s obvious he’s very proud of her, regardless of the state of their relationship right now” and “it’s safe to say he would be willing to do anything to help her, should she ask.”
But ven if she didn’t, “it’s very hard to imagine that he won’t be putting in a good word for her with all his connections when the time comes,” the source said in their concluding remarks.
