Taylor Swift fans have all gathered on social media for a celebration as this week last year marked an important event in the fandom.
The 36-year-old pop superstar appeared on her then-boyfriend Travis Kelce’s podcast New Heights, teased The Life of a Showgirl album for the first time, and then went on to announce it during the podcast episode.
Swift also got engaged during the same week and the week became important for her personal life as well.
As the same time rolled around this year, Swifties took to social media and began reminiscing, with one writing, “Taylor Nation shared exactly 12 photos of Taylor in orange outfits, dropped precisely 12 minutes after the New Heights podcast teased her as the special guest!”
Excited fans flocked to the comments and wrote, “And what a time it was.”
Another added, “Can’t believe that it’s been a year since they teased us about the TLOAS era.”
A third chimed in, “time flies,” and “the podcast, the engagement news, AND the album!! what a week,” wrote another.
