Phoenix Suns guard Jordan Goodwin left Monday’s game against the Golden State Warriors with a right calf injury.
Goodwin left the court with 1:24 remaining in the second quarter and didn’t return.
He played 10 minutes and finished with four points, two rebounds, two assists, and one steal and one turnover.
Ahead of Monday’s game, Goodwin was averaging 8.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists in four games this season.
The Warriors posted a thrilling 116-113 win over the Suns on Monday night.
The Suns re-signed the 28-year-old guard Goodwin this offseason on a three-year contract valued at $19 million.
Last season, he was a regular part of the rotation averaging 8.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists across 70 appearances (10 starts).
In the playoffs last year, Goodwin started Game 1 of Phoenix’s series against the OKC but was lost for the rest of the series after he suffered an injury to the opposite calf.
