Suki Waterhouse has offered a rare glimpse into her past romance with Bradley Cooper.
The romance sounds like her relationship with Robert Pattinson has completely changed her expectations of love.
In a recent interview with The Sunday Times, the singer and actress reflected on nearly a decade with Pattinson, admitting that keeping a relationship strong while juggling demanding careers and constant travel takes work.

“It’s quite hard to make something work where you’re both doing these kinds of jobs, when you don’t live in one place and you’re traveling a lot,” she said.
Still, the couple’s connection has stood the test of time. “It is almost a decade [of our relationship] and that is a beautiful thing,” Waterhouse added.
“It’s a thing that I go, I can’t believe that I have this in my life and I can’t believe that I’m so happy.”
The 34-year-old also hinted at why this relationship feels different, recalling that her previous romances rarely made it past the two-year mark.
She dated Cooper from 2013 to 2015 but didn’t mention him by name.
“Before I had only ever gone out with someone for two years, and if it was two years, it would have been a disaster at the end,” she said.
Waterhouse previously described that difficult period in a 2024 interview with British Vogue, saying, “It probably has taken a decade to work myself out and actually be able to have this expansion in my life.”
Now engaged to Pattinson, she says the past ultimately brought her somewhere better.
“All these chaotic ways that my life went, it was always material,” she said, adding that it “led me to a love that is really pure.”

The couple, who share a daughter born in March 2024, are also considering a big wedding celebration.
“If we were going to go for it, we’d have a massive party, blow it out,” she revealed.
