Sixers beat Pistons as Brown scores 30, Embiid, LeBron post double-doubles

The Philadelphia 76ers top the Detroit Pistons in an away game on Wednesday night, 112-106.

The Sxiers are now 8-1 in the regular season 2026-27.

The Sixers took an early lead and quickly went ahead with a double-digit lead, credit to the scoring of Jaylen Brown and the playmaking craft of the NBA’s leading scorer of all time, LeBron James.

Despite the Pistons making attempts to close the gap in the final moments, the Sixers held on and sealed the win in a dramatic style they are known for.

The Sixers beat the Pistons to avenge their only loss this season, and their record now stands at 8-1.

Let’s get down to having a recap of the wild night.

Jaylen Brown scored 30 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block

While LeBron James finished with 13 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists, 1 steal and 1 block.

Here’s an interesting titbit: LeBron James’ second field goal of the night was his 16,000th of his career. He is the first player to ever reach that milestone in the league history.

The Philadelphia 76ers’ centre Joel Embiid finished the night with 26 points, 15 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal.

After beating the Pistons on the road, the 76ers, now 8-1 on the season, are set for another road showdown against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday, November 6, 2026.
