Rod Stewart has become a grandfather for the sixth time after his daughter Ruby Stewart welcomed her second child.
Ruby, 39, shared the happy news on Instagram, announcing that she and her fiancé, Jake Kalick, welcomed a baby boy named Levi Rhodes Kalick on August 4.
She shared that Levi weighed 9 pounds and explained that his name means “my heart.”
Ruby is already a mother to their three-year-old son, Otis. She described meeting moment between her two children as one of the best experiences of her life so far.
Ruby’s mother, former model Kelly Emberg, appeared in the family photos as well, smiling while holding her new grandson. Family members, including Ruby’s half-sister Renee Stewart, shared kind messages celebrating the new baby.
Jake also shared a short, sweet message expressing his excitement about becoming a father to a son.
Ruby first announced her pregnancy in April, showing off her baby bump during a music festival where her father performed. She was joined at the event by Jake and several family members.
Ruby has followed in her father’s musical footsteps, having performed as part of a country duo and also joined her father on stage in the past. She and Jake got engaged in January 2023 and welcomed their first child later that year.
This new arrival adds to Rod Stewart’s large family. The 81-year-old has eight children from five different relationships.
