Earlier, Matt Reeves, the director, left the production of The Batman: Part II — but not completely — due to a family matter.
Steven Soderbergh, another filmmaker, agreed to come on board to finish what was left of the much-anticipated movie.
Now, Robert Pattinson, who is the star of the DC movie, has asked to comment on the development.
“I am so happy he’s come on to help Matt,” he told GamesRadar+. “It’s incredibly generous of him – and he’s doing it in the loveliest way. It’s completely selfless.”
Pattinson further praised Soderbergh, stating, “I think Matt had put so much work into the script, and we’re almost done.”
He added, “So for someone to come in and say, ‘I just want to help Matt do it; I want to do it in conjunction with him and just get it to the edit. ‘And to have someone who’s as talented as Steven doing it is great.”
Amid the praise, Pattinson was asked when the shooting will restart.
“I think they’re in production already,” he said, adding, “And I’m starting in a couple of days.”
The Batman Part II is set to hit cinemas on February 18, 2028.
