Prince Harry, despite the slew of setbacks in the possible reconciliation plans, has extended, in what appears to be, an olive branch to his sister-in-law the Princess Kate.
The rift between Prince William and Prince Harry has only been growing deeper with the series of events that have happened, especially after the Sussexes have returned.
While the King had cracked the door open for his younger son, William and Catherine have stayed prudent in their approach in the matter.

However, things went awry when major diary clashes took place in recent weeks. The most prominent among them was his GQ interview release coincided with the ceremonial welcome and State Banquet for the Sultan of Oman.
Even though a Sussex spokesperson cleared that it was the publication’s decision to release it at the time, it did not help matters with the royals.
Now, sources have claimed that Princess Kate will be joining her husband Prince William in India for the Earthshot Prize. It was likely that the event could have coincided with one of the Sussex events.
Hence, the Sussex camp has shared that the couple are holding off public engagements for the time being. Harry’s representative also noted that he doesn’t want to overshadow the royals.
According to Woman & Home’s Emma Shacklock, this comes as a “respectful” gesture from Harry, knowing that this means a lot to the Waleses.
She explained that the Duke of Sussex “holding off from any public appearances during this time would ensure that focus remains on the Waleses and the awards themselves”.
This could suggest that it was an olive branch from Harry to Kate, with whom he once shared a very close bond.
