With a calculated move, the royal family is shifting focus from Andrew by granting Prince Harry access to the royal residence.
It is a meaningful gesture, and one that has quietly redirected public attention from the former Duke of York to the King’s estranged son, and his bid for reconciliation
The timing is deliberate as scrutiny of the former prince intensifies, this strategic pivot offers the public a new narrative of possible unity.
A former royal butler has shared his knowledge about Prince Harry’s possible public apology, saying it alone cannot change William’s thoughts.
On “The Royals Uncensored” podcast, ex-royal butler Grant Harrold said that Prince Harry’s apology might not fix things with teh future monarch.
The recent programme saw a discussion between Harrold, royal expert Kinsey Schofield and Jo Elvin.
Schofield wondered about “a public apology” by the Sussexes for their behavior, as she believes Harry wants a reconciliation. She asked Harrold his opinion, who replied, “I just find it really hard to kind of believe because I think that, of course, we would all love it if they actually did that.”
Elvin interrupted that she doesn’t think everyone would love that. Harrold agreed, saying, “They certainly probably wouldn’t enjoy doing it. I think the problem is it so much has now happened. It’s such a difficult thing to do.”
Harrold further elaborated. “Not to say it wouldn’t, I just find it hard to believe. I think one person that would probably love it would be William.”
Harrold continued, “Even with a public apology, I still don’t see any way back now between the two of them.” T
He agress to Schofield’s point that “trust is a big thing, and that’s been so damaged over the years.”
The Prince of Wales “is still adamant he doesn’t want anything to do with his brother.”
However, from what Harrold understood, King Charles “does want some sort of relationship, especially with his grandchildren.”
