New ISS crew blasts off from Kazakhstan

Nasa astronaut Anil Menon and cosmonauts Pyotr Dubrov and Anna Kikina lifted off aboard a Soyuz spacecraft on Tuesday from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. This is Menon’s first time traveling in space and Dubrov and Kikina’s second time. They will spend about eight months on board the International Space Station before returning to Earth in April 2027, according to Nasa.
