Prince Harry’s wife Meghan Markle has finally spoken about a topic close to her home and heart in a chat with an American star.
The Duchess of Sussex is taking a cautious approach to expanding her family as she focuses on raising her two children with Prince Harry and growing her projects.
However, during an encounter with Pregnant American Idol Alum Pia Toscano at David Foster Gala, Meghan congratulated her on her pregnancy after her performance.
Pia Toscano revealed the details of a heartfelt exchange she shared with the Duchess of Sussex her recent night out with Prince Harry.
The 37-year-old crossed paths with the former Suits actress on Friday, August 7, where the royal couple made a rare public date-night appearance to celebrate the David Foster Foundation’s 40th Anniversary.
The singer performed at the charity gala, where the Sussexes were also present to support their longtime friend.
Speaking to Page Six, the singer — who is expecting her first child with husband Carmen Educate — revealed what Meghan said to her about hpregnancy.
In chat, the singer said Harry graciously moved a chair out of the way for her as he and Meghan hugged her and congratulated her on her pregnancy.
Meghan also touched Toscano’s baby bump before telling her, “This is the most beautiful time of your life.”
Meghan and Harry are parents to Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5. Toscano, meanwhile, is already a stepmother to Educate’s five children from a previous relationship, and says they’ve taught her so much about love, patience and being a parent.
She added that welcoming their first child together, a daughter, feels like a “beautiful addition” to their family.
