Lorde shared a full circle moment with fans during her performance at the All Points East music festival, where she performed her early hits from Melodrama and Pure Heroine.
The 29-year-old pop superstar addressed the crowd before she performed one of her fan-favourites, The Louvre, and gave an unexpected shout out to one of the attendees.
The Favourite Daughter hitmaker told fans, “I first came here in 2024 with a guy I had a crush on,” adding that “he’s here tonight.”
The videos from the set surfaced on the internet and social media users flocked to the comments, writing, “the way she said ‘and he’s here tonight’ like it’s nothing.”
They added, “Imagine being Lorde’s old crush and hearing The Louvre live right in front of you.”
A third chimed in, “They will hang us in the louvre down the back but who cares still in the louvre,” quoting the lyrics of the song.
