Learjet 60 Florida plane crash victim’s last heartfelt social media post, highlighting the institution of family, has gone viral.
Adam Robinson, 45, died on Sunday when a Learjet 60 plane crashed in Cresthaven, an area located about 9 miles from President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort.
Robinson’s post was originally shared on X (formerly Twitter) in April.
In the post, Robinson, the founder of tech start-up Retention, sheds light on corporate life.
“In my 20’s (sic), I used to work on Wall Street,” he wrote while recalling his early days of professional life.
“People my age now (45) said they were working 10, 80, 90 hours a week for their families… but all their families actually wanted was their presence,” he added.
“They didn’t understand why their families resented how much they worked when they lived in a nice house, and their kids went to private schools,” he continued.
“I decided early in my startup journey that wasn’t going to be me.”
“My family life gives me energy for my work. My work gives me energy for my family life,” he concluded the heartfelt post that is connecting with many on social media after his death.
Also aboard the plane were Robinson’s wife, Helen Sharp; their children, four-year-old Emma and two-year-old Charlie; the youngsters’ nanny, Anita Maria Cetina; and another couple named Rachael Reed and Charmi Fehr.
