Katy Perry may soon share a side of her marriage to Russell Brand that the public has never heard before.
The singer is reportedly in talks to tell her story through a book and a documentary after Brand’s recent conviction for rape and sexual assault.
The former couple got married in India in 2010, but their marriage lasted only 14 months.
Brand ended the relationship through a text message in December 2011, shortly before Perry was due to perform at a major show.

Perry, however, has rarely spoken about what happened between them. In a 2013 interview with Vogue, she described Brand as very controlling and said his reaction to her success during her tour had hurt her.
According to reports, The Dark Horse hitmaker received many offers to share her story over the years but did not want to move forward before Brand’s trial ended.
Her team is now said to be speaking with Netflix and Hulu about a possible series. An autobiography is also being discussed.
