Katseye is apologising to the Eyekons after leaving thousands of fans disappointed with a last-minute concert cancellation.
The iconic girl group issued a statement to their Instagram Stories, explaining that they were forced to postpone their Wildworld Tour concert in Detroit on Tuesday, November 3, due to bandmember Megan Skiendiel falling ill.
“Unfortunately, Megan is unwell and unable to perform tonight, and we want to make sure she has the time she needs to rest and recover,” they revealed, adding, “We know so many of you have traveled, made plans, and been looking forward to tonight. We are disappointed that we won’t get to see you, and we’re truly sorry for the inconvenience.”

“Thank you for your patience, understanding, and for always showing us so much love. We love you and can’t wait to see you soon,” the statement concluded.

Fans who were already present at the venue shared videos of the message that flashed on stage: “We’re sorry to share that the KATSEYE show scheduled for tonight at Little Caesars Arena has been postponed due to illness. If you’re already at the venue, please follow instructions from venue staff.”
One concertgoer, Alliz Nguyen, revealed that VIP ticket holders got to see the band perform a sound check and join them for photo ops. However, the concert itself was cancelled about half an hour prior to starting.
Eyekons had noticed Megan was not feeling well during their last concert in Hamilton on November 1. Despite their sympathies, a majority of the fans expressed their disappointment with Katseye, noting that they could have at least announced the cancellation earlier.
With Megan under the weather, only two of the six girls, Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, and Yoonchae Jeung remain. Frotwoman Sophia Laforteza will return from her hiatus and join the girls on the road in January, while Manon Bannerman’s hiatus remains indefinite.
