JoJo Siwa has found that she and her boyfriend Chris Hughes have the same taste in engagement rings.
The 23-year-old singer and dancer recently revealed a “wild” moment when she and Chris unknowingly picked the exact same design for her dream ring.
Siwa told People that she had always wanted Hughes to design the ring himself if he ever proposed.
“I’ve always said that one day — if he proposes — I figured he’d ask my mom what kind of ring I would want,” she said. “And I told my mom, I said, ‘Whenever he asks you, [tell him] I want him to design it completely. I want it to be completely his design.’ ”
But one day, when the couple sat down for dinner, Siwa randomly asked Chris about her dream ring.
She said, “I was like, ‘What do you think my dream ring looks like?’ And in my head, I knew that I would never design it myself anyways.”
For reference, the pair Googled an image to show the design in their minds.
Siwa recalled, “And we were like, ‘All right. Show each other on the count of three.”
However, the most unexpected thing happened for Siwa.
“One, two, three. And we flipped it. And we were holding the same photo from Google! … It was like a blue emerald shape.”
Expressing her shock, Siwa said the chances of the coincidence were “so slim.”
Elsewhere during the conversation, Siwa said their relationship is going “great”.
“It’s been lovely,” the TV star gushed. “We’re about to have our year and a half anniversary, which is wild … It feels like last week. But at the same time, I’m like, no, that was four years ago.”
For those unversed, Siwa and Chris met on Celebrity Big Brother UK in April 2025 and confirmed their relationship in June that year.
