Jodie Sweetin recently recalled the time when she visited Disney World with her Full House co-star John Stamos.
For those unaware, Sweetin portrayed Stephanie Tanner, and Stamos played Jesse Katsopolis in the 1980s American television sitcom Full House and its sequel series Fuller House, created by Jeff Franklin.
The 44-year-old American actress and TV personality appeared on the Monday, August 24 episode of the Good Guys Podcast hosted by Ben Soffer and Josh Peck, where she opened up about paying a visit to Walt Disney World with Stamos.
Calling to mind her time with the General Hospital star, she said, “John would get recognized, but we had kind of a lull in it.”
“And he was like, ‘We’ve got to get recognized more.’ So we’d be like jokingly walking around and he’d just be like, ‘Have mercy.’ And then I’d be like, ‘How rude.’ It was ridiculous,” the Defending Santa actress recalled.
Sweetin and Stamos, who were accompanied by two of their former co-stars, Lori Loughlin and Andrea Barber, were roaming around under strict security measures and went to Magic Kingdom, enjoyed some rides, especially roller coasters, fireworks, and the parade.
“It was so much fun, and it was a moment,” the Light is Waiting star admitted. “I mean, we haven’t been together in Disney World for 30-some odd years.”
“I will say, if you’re ever going to do Disney, do it with John because you know he’s got his awesome guides who he’s had for like 20 years. They’re like part of his family now, and they were so sweet and wonderful,” Jodie Sweetin shared.
