Jennifer Lopez and Ted Lasso actor Brett Goldstein are dating after meeting on the set of the Netflix film Office Romance, according to reports.
The pair played co-workers who fell in love in the romantic comedy, which was released earlier this year, and a source has told US outlet Page Six that real life has mirrored fiction for the two stars.
After Lopez, 57, and Goldstein, 46, were spotted arriving at and leaving a talent manager’s party in Los Angeles in the same car last week, a source told the publication: “The one thing they have in common is they both enjoy going out to parties and restaurants.”
The source added that things between the pair are “casual”. The Independent has contacted Lopez and Goldstein’s representatives for comment.
The pair previously sparked dating rumours after their chemistry-packed press tour for Office Romance.
The actors made a number of cosy red carpet appearances after Lopez said during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live last October: “I just did a movie with Brett Goldstein and I’d say he was the best kisser.”
But in a joint Today show interview in June, they insisted they were just friends.
“There’s never a time when I’m seen with somebody or working with somebody where they don’t try to put me with the person,” Lopez said, with Goldstein adding: “I think if you stand near her, that’s what happens.”
Host Suzannah Guthrie then asked directly: “OK, so you’re not dating in real life?”
“Not dating,” Lopez replied, before Goldstein simply added: “Correct.”
Lopez has had a number of high-profile relationships during her decades in the spotlight.
In 2024, she filed for divorce from actor Ben Affleck after two years of marriage. The pair initially dated in the early noughties but called things off and ended their engagement in 2004.
They then reconciled in 2021 and got married a year later, before parting ways for the second time within two years of tying the knot.
Goldstein previously dated British comedian and podcaster Beth Rylance. They are believed to have split in 2021.
