The teenager hammered a staggering 10 sixes and seven fours during his stay in the middle. He was eventually dismissed by LSG pacer Mohsin Khan. The innings took the left-handed opener at the top of the IPL 2026 batting charts as he now has 579 runs to his name this season.

Before hitting the fifty against Lucknow, Sooryvanshi had already notched a hundred and two half-centuries this season. The 15-year-old’s knock was ladden with lofted sixes over covers, ramps over the keeper and pulls over deep mid-wicket.
By the time he was dismissed, the damage was done and Rajasthan were 180/2 in 14 overs. They only needed 41 runs off six overs. RR won with five balls to spare.
Captain Yashasvi Jaiswal began the run chase with aplomb with a quickfire 43 off 23 balls. He smacked eight fours and one six. His opening partnership with Sooryavanshi was 75 runs from just 6.3 overs.
New celebration, same old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi fire 😌💥

Earlier, Mitchell Marsh produced another batting masterclass, hammering a brutal 96 off just 48 balls as LSG piled up an imposing 220/5.
Jos Inglis set the tone for the Rishabh Pant-led side with a blazing 60 off 29 deliveries in a 109-run opening stand inside nine overs, Marsh took complete control with his trademark power-hitting, smashing 11 fours and five sixes.
The win helped Rajasthan to go to fourth spot in the IPL standings. They still haven’t booked a playoff berth, but a win in their last match should get them a top-four spot.
