Ariana Grande and Ricky Alvarez are giving their romance another chance!
The Thank You, Next singer has sparked romance with former boyfriend Ricky, according to Radar Online.
An insider told the outlet, “There’s obviously still a lot of chemistry between Ariana and Ricky.”
“She spent the July 4th holiday with him and when he was at her show in Texas on June 26, she changed the lyrics about him to be nicer. Besides that, she liked all of his Instagram posts,” the source further revealed.
It is pertinent to mention that during her Eternal Sunshine tour, Grammy-winning pop star changed the lyrics of her single Thank You, Next from “Wrote some songs about Ricky / Now I listen and laugh” to “Wrote some songs about Ricky / We always find our way back.”
Before that, the singer had altered the same lyrics multiple times, which eventually became a major talking point on the internet.
Furthermore, the source claimed that the pop star’s latest ex, Ethan Slater, may have been going through a painful situation. “Poor Ethan keeps insisting that he’s happy if Ariana’s happy.”
Adding, “But it’s hard to believe this isn’t painful for him. He was so all in and so was Ariana. Then, suddenly she dumped him and seems to have moved on like it’s no big deal.”
For those unaware, Ricky Alvarez was Ariana Grande’s backup dancer in her 2014 tour, which led to their dating in 2015; however, their romance came to an end in July 2016.
