MEXICO CITY — The killing has haunted Latin America for years.
In February 2023, an Argentine model, Agostina Jalabert, 31, was found dead inside her apartment in the Mexican tourist town of Playa del Carmen. Her body was discovered in a bathroom, hanging by the neck from the towel rack.
