Florence Pugh has been keeping a low profile lately, but she came out into the light recently for the opening night of Dracula on Broadway. And the actor leaned heavily into the gothic vibes of the event.

The play, which stars Cynthia Erivo, is showing at London’s Noël Coward Theatre. Cynthia Erivo has traded in the yellow brick road for a singular spotlight as she carried the entire gothic epic on her shoulders in a new adaptation of Dracula. The actor performs a two-hour theatrical marathon while playing 23 characters with 20,000 words of dialogue, reports the BBC.

Showing her support, Florence Pugh attended the first show. She was also joined by other celebrities, including Lashana Lynch, Jeff Goldblum and wife Emilie, Sam Claflin, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and William Moseley. Cynthia’s Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey was also present at the theatre, as he came to cheer on the actor.

Florence Pugh wore a chic long black Patou dress for the event that highlighted all her curves. It gave major Victorian-era vibes with the high neck, short fluttering sleeves, and tiny motifs that might look floral in nature but are in reality depictions of horses, winged creatures, and people. However, the black velvet with hints of grey truly made this LBD into something any self-respecting goth would love to have in their closet.

The black number worn by Oscar-nominated “Little Women” actor was from the French fashion house’s fall 2026 collection.

The actor let her dress do most of the talking and wore minimal accessories. She wore a pair of dangly silver earrings – tulip drop earrings and tulip French hooks – by Annoushka. She also wore her silver septum piercing. To break up the all-black aesthetic, she added subtle pops of colour through her beauty choices – by wearing a bold red lip and mauve polished nails.

When she was leaving the theatre, Florence Pugh was photographed carrying a black leather half-moon bag, also from Patou.
