Jessica Blair Herman, a Euphoria cast member, addressed rumors of tension between Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney.
During an appearance on the latest episode of Good Day New York, the 31-year-old actress shut down rumors of a feud among the series’ cast, emphasizing that all the actors got along.
“They really did,” Jessica said. “And I’m not just saying that.”
Jessica, who plays the neighbor of Sydney and Jacob Elordi’s characters in the third season of the HBO Max series, insisted that there was “no drama.”
“Really, they’ve created this beautiful working relationship and everyone wants to do the work, to come in and do the job,” the actress continued.
She also defended Zendaya and Sweeney, explaining that the two rarely have scenes together.
“To be fair, when I was there, they’re not sharing scenes,” she said. “Their storylines are very separate, you’re shooting on different days and stuff.”
For those unversed, rumors of a rift between Sydney and Zendaya sparked when the Anyone But You actress was notably missing from a Euphoria cast snap for the latest season.
Sydney portrays Cassie, while Zendaya plays the role of Rue in the third season of Euphoria. The eight-episode series was released on HBO Max on April 12.
