Chris Pratt is set to return as former Navy SEAL James Reece in Savage Son, a new series for Amazon that continues the Terminal List story.
According to Variety, the show is based on Savage Son, the third novel in Jack Carr’s Terminal List book series.
It is described as “a fast-paced military thriller following former Navy SEAL sniper James Reece (Pratt)” on “his most personal and dangerous mission yet.”

The story blends military action, espionage and wilderness survival.
It is not yet clear whether the show will serve as a third season of The Terminal List or as a spin-off, though sources say it is more likely to be a standalone project.
The Terminal List first launched in 2022, with Pratt as Reece, a Navy SEAL who investigates the conspiracy behind the deaths of his team.
The franchise has since grown. The prequel series The Terminal List: Dark Wolf aired on Amazon in 2025, with Taylor Kitsch reprising his role as CIA operative and former SEAL Ben Edwards.
The Savage Son order shows Amazon’s confidence in the franchise and in Carr’s novels, which offer plenty of material for further adaptations.
No details have been given on the rest of the cast, or on when production will begin or when the series will arrive on Prime Video.
