Cher has reportedly taken an urgent legal steps in a bid to help her son Elijah Blue Allman.
Amid escalating concerns over his health and wellbeing, the music legend has filed for conservatorship that would grant her control over Elijah’s financial affairs.
This comes following a series of troubling incidents, including two recent arrests in New Hampshire on allegations of trespassing and burglary, according to reports.
While Elijah was admitted to psychiatric facility following the incidents, sources claim his struggles with addiction and mental health have intensified in recent months. This has prompted Cher to seek court intervention.
The source told Radar Online, “Elijah’s behavior has been shocking and horrific. But he’s still Cher’s flesh and blood, and she’ll never stop fighting to help him.”
“She’s hopeful that this conservatorship will be granted – at least temporarily to start off with. Then she’ll be able to start the process that’ll ultimately save his life,” they added.
Cher has reportedly described her son’s situation as “dire,” expressing concern over his ability to manage his finances and personal affairs.
Insiders claim that Cher is “determined” to clean things up for Elijah, but she needs a “judge to give her full control of his life.”
“It makes her sick to her stomach that anyone would be trying to take advantage when he’s at his vulnerable,” the source told the outlet.
