Carla Jeffery, best known for playing Bree in Disney’s ZOMBIES franchise, has died at 33.
Her talent agency, Alexanders Talent Management, confirmed her death on Instagram, writing, “It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Carla Jeffery.”
According to the agency, Jeffery died Tuesday, September 1, no cause of death has been disclosed.
The agency reflected on their decades-long relationship with Jeffery, writing, “For more than 20 years, we had the privilege of watching her grow into a beautiful, vibrant, and incredibly talented woman whose radiant smile could light up any room,” and describing her as “more than a client,” calling her “family.”
The statement closed with a message asking for privacy for her loved ones during this time, “Rest beautifully, Carla.”
Born in Houston, Texas, Jeffery built a career across both film and television, appearing in Phat Girlz, Southland, American Vandal, iCarly, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Torchwood.
Her Disney credits extended well beyond ZOMBIES, including roles on Good Luck Charlie, Shake It Up and Best Friends Whenever, along with an appearance in Marvel’s Spider-Man.
She had a twin brother, actor Carlon Jeffery, who is known for his own Disney Channel work, including a role on A.N.T. Farm.
