After other efforts failed, it appears the only option available to Victoria Beckham now, has been to turn towards her pal Sir Elton John for his help thawing the icy wall between her and Brooklyn.
But whether he has been successful has been shared by a well placed source that is well aware of the struggles the family is facing with their oldest.
According to New Idea this insider said, “He has tried speaking to both sides, but also respects Brooklyn’s wish for silence.”
So given the raw feeling of this wound, “the only thing that will heal this rift is time,” they admit.
The only thing that is currently grinding the family’s gears though is his continued bid to use their name for clout, despite not agreeing to mend fences.
Regarding this they said, “Victoria and David were mildly annoyed and think it’s kind of sad that Brooklyn and Nicola keep riding their coattails. Everyone important knows what they’re doing, and it’s only going to work against them in the end. It’s almost laughable that they were compared to a young David and Victoria, when one was a world champion soccer player and the other an international pop star.”
In the meantime, while the couple wait to see where the tides will turn, the source admitted, “David and Victoria have turned the page on Brooklyn and Nicola – it’s gone way too far, and no one can see any way back to reconciliation.”
