Barbara Eden reminisced about her experience on I Love Lucy and being under the wings of Lucille Ball.

For those unaware, Eden appeared as a guest star and portrayed Diana Jordan, a beautiful socialite, in an episode titled Country Club Dance of I Love Lucy that aired in 1957. It is an American sitcom that aired on CBS from October 15, 1951, to May 6, 1957, with 180 half-hour episodes across six seasons.

While giving an interview to Entertainment Weekly, the 94-year-old American actress and singer recalled working with the late actress Ball.

Calling to mind the treasured moments, Eden shared, “Oh my goodness, [Ball] was wonderful. She was wonderful to me.”

“She made sure that my costume was right. She made it s****** for the part. I understand she had trouble, I know, with people because of him, but I went out of my way to stay out of his way,” she explained, gushing over Ball and alluding to the late American actor Desi Arnaz.

“I didn’t go near it. And I think [Lucy] appreciated that because she really, really … wanted to put me under contract,” Barbara Eden claimed.

It is pertinent to mention that Lucille Ball passed away from a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm at the age of 77 on April 26, 1989.
