There’s a new team atop the poll! Texas was edged by Oklahoma, and Georgia narrowly beat Alabama, allowing the Bulldogs to become the country’s No. 1.
The other top undefeated teams took care of business, with Notre Dame, Indiana, BYU, Utah and UCLA winning. There were upsets across the SEC as LSU and Florida lost to unranked opponents (Kentucky and South Carolina). With Miami and Texas Tech coming off bye weeks, there will be even more undefeated teams making the case that they’re the best in the country.
