Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig have reportedly tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in New Jersey, less than a month after their former spouses, Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, announced their own marriage.
The couple began dating in 2023 after their respective former spouses, Good Morning America co-hosts Robach and Holmes, made headlines with their own romance in 2022, which emerged while both were still married but reportedly already separated.
The Melrose Place actor, 59, and attorney, 49, exchanged vows on Sunday at their farm near Stockton, surrounded by close family and friends, according to the Daily Mail. Among the guests was Shue’s sister, actor Elisabeth Shue, 63.
Photographs published by the outlet show Fiebig wearing an off-the-shoulder white lace dress, paired with a short netted veil and open-toe heels. Shue opted for a black suit and pale blue open-collar shirt.
Fiebig’s 13-year-old daughter, Sabine, whom she shares with Holmes, was also in attendance, wearing a navy floor-length dress.
The reported wedding comes just weeks after the couple revealed their engagement, following three years together.
Shue told People: “We’re very grateful and hopeful.
“I don’t know how it happened, but there’s a happy ending.”
In September, Robach and Holmes tied the knot during a private ceremony in Arkansas, after their workplace relationship was made public in November 2022, while they were still married to Shue and Fiebig, respectively.
Robach and Holmes were then ousted from ABC’s GMA 3, with a network source telling the New York Post’s Page Six at the time it was “best for everyone” that they “move on” following the scandal.
Shue and Fiebig, meanwhile, found comfort in each other as they navigated the breakdown of their marriages and began dating.
Despite the controversy surrounding the situation, Robach was said to be “in love” with her co-star and has “no regrets” over the way things have turned out.
A source told Extra: “It’s not a fling and they are seriously in love, and they will be fully open about their relationship. Amy has no regrets.
“She wants to keep her job, but even if she loses it, she’s in love.
“ABC is putting resources in so there are no surprises and they have all the information they can before deciding how to proceed.”
Meanwhile, in January 2023, Fiebig alleged through her divorce lawyer that her “sole focus” had been on Sabine throughout the ordeal.
Attorney Stephanie Lehman said: “During the holiday season and in light of the challenging times, Fiebig’s sole focus has remained on the overall best interest of her 9-year-old daughter.
“To that end T.J.’s lawyer and I have been working together to move their divorce forward privately, expeditiously and as amicably as possible.
“Notwithstanding, we continue to be disappointed by T.J’s lack of discretion, respect and sensitivity toward Marilee and the party’s daughter.
“Marilee has been touched by the outpouring of support and looks forward to a new beginning in this new year.”
