Even Amy Poehler gets starstruck – and apparently, it takes a former Beatle to leave the comedian lost for words.

The Good Hang host revealed that Paul McCartney was the celebrity guest who impressed her most while recording the podcast.

Speaking to People magazine at the Wall Street Journal’s Innovator Awards in New York on October 29, Poehler admitted that interviewing the music legend was a particularly memorable moment.

“I was really starstruck by Paul McCartney, who I got to interview recently. That was a big one for me,” she said, referring to their October 13 conversation.

And if she could have one more legendary name on the show, there was another star she would have loved to chat with.

“I would’ve loved to have interviewed Dolly [Parton]. Rest in peace,” she shared.

Poehler added that she enjoys meeting all her guests, saying the real goal is simply to have a good time together.

She also looked back on her interview with The Pitt star Noah Wyle, during which she helped reveal his selection as PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive.

Poehler joked that his representatives had supposedly refused to let him appear until he received the title.

“I told Noah that I had heard from his reps that he wasn’t going to do my show until he was voted Sexiest Man Alive. So thank you for making that happen. You really gave us an assist,” she joked.

Beyond podcasting, Poehler is preparing for her next project, Dig, a comedy series co-created with former Parks and Recreation collaborator Michael Schur.
