With the Windsor kids and the Sussex tots finally on the same time zone, Kate Middleton’s raw, honest and real thoughts about Meghan Markle’s kids comes to light.
For those unversed, for years leading up to this return, it was often said that Kate has taken a step back and personally chosen to separate herself from the family’s drama. However, never before were thoughts related to Archie and Lilibet shared with the masses, until today.
The entire thing comes straight from Closer Weekly and they have shared their sentiments in a rather candid, fashion.
Reportedly, it appears the issue between the parents have not reached the younger generation.
Its even being said, “Kate’s telling [William] that the children deserve the opportunity to get to know their cousins.”
Its said that in her view, “it was one thing when Archie and Lilibet were on another continent. It was easy to make excuses then. But now, they will be so close.”
There’s also the fact that the longer this goes on, the harder it might get when the parents have to explain it to their three kids, Prince George, 13, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8, who are closet in the line of Succession.
“Especially when William and Kate have always emphasized how important it is for them to get along and now here is this example of the adults not being able to make peace,” the insider even says.
What they did make clear however is that this will, by no means, be forgiveness and “[Kate] isn’t asking William to forget what has been said and done, but she is ready to forgive,” they noted. Moreover, “she’s very open about the fact that she wants him to get on the same page because the children are watching their every move.”
In their concluding words the source said, “Harry and his family and this whole issue has been out of sight, out of mind for so long, but that’s no longer going to be the case and Kate feels it’s crucial they take the right stance for everyone’s sake, especially the children’s.”
