Prince Harry is due to return to the UK in a couple of weeks for his annual commitment to the charities he still supports and it is likely that this time he would be staying at the Buckingham Palace.
After the friction between Palace and the Sussexes over royal accommodation last month, reports have claimed that the King would still offer a room in the Palace for Harry and the Duke of Sussex will accept it in time.
However, Prince William is still unwilling to digest the return of his brother and this has been causing some tensions between him and his father.
Palace insiders have revealed that it is getting “uncomfortable” for the Firm and everyone to function, hence they have called a secret meeting between the monarch and the heir.
“Their advisors are still communicating, but William and the King are barely acknowledging each other, even when they’re in the same meeting,” sources have told Closer, noting that it has become “absolutely ludicrous”.
This situation is causing chaos and William is adamant on his stance that Harry and Meghan are tricking King Charles.
However, “time I of the essence” because Harry’s upcoming trip could “tip things over”. Charles had been avoiding the meeting for months but he has finally agreed to meet William and discuss the next set of steps.
“It’s no secret that William is already furious that his father is ignoring his objections,” the insider said of William’s stance.
