Princess Lilibet may only be a five-year-old young girl, but she already seems to be taking after her beloved grandmother Princess Diana.
Prince Harry had previously revealed how he and his wife Meghan Markle continue to have traditions dedicated to the late Princess so their children are able to keep her memory alive.
However, it seems that there is a piece of Diana that the children already carry with themselves. Ahead of the release of her production company’s first-ever documentary, Cookie Queens, Meghan sat down with Director Alysa Nahamias as young girls asked some “adorably hard-hitting questions”.
Meghan was asked what made her “feel brave” and her response was a little surprising. She quickly answered “my daughter”.
“Every day, when I feel a little bit like, ‘Oh gosh, can I do this?’ I go, ‘Lili would do it.’”
Known for being led by her raw emotions and instincts, Princess Diana was one of the most daring members of the royal family. She dismissed and made exceptions to many royal rules and was loved by the public for it. She famously said, “I don’t go by a rule book… I lead from the heart, not the head.”
Given that a five-year-old is able to give her mother the strength and motivation to take a leap of faith, it is likely that she also follows her instincts, signalling that she is Diana’s granddaughter after all.
Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet reportedly visited the final resting place of their grandmother at the Althorp estate in UK last month. It was understood to be an emotional moment that the Sussexes shared.
However, any further details of the visit have strictly been kept concealed.
