Zendaya has once again found herself at the center of viral online speculations.
Recently, an AI-generated image falsely appeared to show the wife of Tom Holland with a baby bump.
The image spread on X, Instagram and TikTok, showing Zendaya walking alongside Tom with a visibly pregnant stomach. This sparked rumours that the Hollywood couple were expecting their first child together.
However, the photo was soon identified as fake. An insider told Radar Online, “There is a whole parallel universe of fake ‘moments’ being created for Tom and Zendaya. It’s reached a point where people think they’ve seen their wedding, their pregnancy, their entire future, and it’s all generated on a screen.”
It is pertinent to mention that previously even the Spider-Man actor joked that his own family had been taken in by the images of their wedding. “My grandmother saw those wedding photos and thought she hadn’t been invited to the wedding.”
Furthermore, a source in the photo agency sector told the outlet, “We’re now tracking dozens of manipulated sets every week. A single day in London can become three different ‘exclusive’ chapters in a celebrity’s life once AI gets involved.”
On the other hand, a social media researcher noted that when people convince “themselves a fake picture is real, they start to feel entitled to an explanation. It drives a cycle where stars are forced to address events that never happened, just to correct the record.”
“Behind the scenes, industry insiders say the episode is the latest example of how AI‑generated images are quietly reshaping the way fame, intimacy and rumor are manufactured online,” another source told the outlet, noting that Zendaya and Tom Holland “are among the most high‑profile test cases.”
